Julie Bronstein is a parent and nonprofit leader who was elected to the San Dieguito School Board in a special election last year. As our School Board Member, she’s listened to students and parents and worked hard to solve the problems facing our schools.
Professionally, Julie serves as Managing Executive Director of Development in Health Sciences at UC San Diego. She previously worked as the Executive Director of the La Jolla Community Foundation, and she is a volunteer advisor for the Autism Tree Project Foundation.
Prior to her election to the School Board, Julie served as VP of Development on the board of the Canyon Crest Academy (CCA) Foundation, as the parent representative for the CCA COVID Safety Process, and as a WASC Accreditation Process Community Focus Group member for CCA in the 2018 – 2019 academic year.
Julie grew up in San Diego, and she and her family have lived in Carmel Valley for the past 18 years. She is a graduate of Scripps College and holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from USC.
